Telangana Tribal Welfare Residential Sainik School was established to prepare downtrodden tribal students for entry in to the National Defence Academy and other defence academies and with the clear vision of making them offer their services in the Officer Cadre of the Defence Services particularly in Army wing with disciplined and regimental training to develop qualities of body, mind and character. Apart from the above holistic objectives the intention behind the establishing the Sainik School is to train the marginalized tribal children to derive full benefit from the courses of instruction at the national Defence Academy and Other Defence Academies by removing regional imbalances in the Officer Cadre and imparting qualities required to get selected in the screenings in to multiple Services of the Defence with the the key function of “LEARN TO LEAD”
