Hyderabad, June 8, 2026: Telangana Tribal Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (TGTWREIS) and Telangana Eklavya Model Residential Schools (TGEMRS) organized a two-day workshop for Principals on 8th and 9th June 2026 at Kanha Shanti Vanam, Hyderabad, under the theme “Transformational Leadership: From Administration to Academic Leadership.”

The workshop was formally inaugurated by the Hon'ble Secretary, TGTWREIS & TGEMRS, in the presence of the Additional Secretary, Deputy Secretary (Academic), and Head Office officials.

The workshop has been designed to strengthen the leadership capabilities of school principals and equip them with contemporary strategies for improving academic outcomes and institutional effectiveness. The sessions focus on instructional leadership, student achievement, administrative excellence, sharing of best practices, and the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and data-driven approaches in school management.

Addressing the participants, the Hon'ble Secretary emphasized the pivotal role of principals in shaping the academic culture of residential institutions and highlighted the need for visionary leadership that prioritizes student learning, innovation, and holistic development.

The workshop brings together principals from TGTWREIS and TGEMRS schools across the State, providing a platform for professional learning, collaboration, and the exchange of successful educational practices.

Through this initiative, TGTWREIS and TGEMRS reaffirm their commitment to empowering educational leaders and advancing excellence in residential education across Telangana.
