Academic Success Meet 2025 – Honoring Excellence in Tribal Education

The Telangana Tribal Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (TGTWREIS) proudly organized the Academic Success Meet 2025 on 22nd May 2025 at Komaram Bheem Adivasi Bhavan, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. The event celebrated the remarkable academic achievements of students from Tribal Welfare Residential Schools, Ekalavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS), and Ashram Schools under the Tribal Welfare Department.

Chief Guest Dr. Dhanasari Anasuya Seethakka Felicitates High Achievers

The event was graced by Dr. Dhanasari Anasuya Seethakka, Hon’ble Minister for Panchayat Raj and Rural Development, who commended the exceptional performance of tribal students in the SSC and Intermediate Public Examinations 2025. She personally felicitated meritorious students with certificates of appreciation and medals, encouraging them to pursue higher goals while remaining rooted in their rich tribal heritage.

In her address, the Hon’ble Minister emphasized the Government of Telangana’s unwavering commitment to providing quality education and equal opportunities to tribal students. She urged students to strive for academic excellence, make their communities proud, and carry forward the legacy of tribal culture, language, and values in their everyday lives.


Academic Highlights – 2024–25

Intermediate Results

  • Overall Pass Percentage – 84.94% among Tribal Welfare Gurukulam students.

    • Kethavath Akhila (Devarakonda TGWR College) – 996/1000 in BiPC stream – State 2nd Rank

    • Kethavath Sravanthi (Parigi TGWR College) – 994/1000 in MPC stream – State 4th Rank

    • Padya Mounika (Kesamudram TGWR College) – 980/1000 in CEC stream – State 8th Rank

  • 28 students secured state-level ranks in Intermediate Second Year.

  • 71 students secured state-level ranks in Intermediate First Year.

  • EMRS Institutions recorded an impressive 89.51% pass rate.

  • Over 1,224 students scored 900+ marks.

SSC (Class X) Results

  • Overall Pass Percentage – 98.08% in TGWR Institutions 

  • 486 students scored above 90%.

  • 41 TGWR Schools achieved 100% pass results.

  • Among 23 EMRSs, 22 schools recorded 100% results.

Ashram Schools Performance

  • 95% overall pass rate.

  • 141 Ashram Schools and 86 ST Hostels achieved 100% results.

  • 160 students scored above 90%.
